There’s no doubt that more Americans are camping than ever before. According to a recent KOA survey, 56.9 million families would camp in 2021, an increase of over 15 million households from 2019.
In addition, more than 9 million families were first-time campers in 2021. As the number of campers grows, campsites and campgrounds are expanding and opening new places to meet the demand.
Whether you’re a first-time camper or a seasoned visitor, these are the new campsite and glamping spots launching in 2023.
Glamping Sites Set to Launch in 2023
AutoCamp
Autocamp has been creating glamping experiences that “bring high-end, boutique-style facilities, mid-century modern decor, and friendly hospitality to some of the world’s most stunning natural areas” since 2013.
It will provide glamping experiences in Zion National Park, Asheville, North Carolina, Hill Country, Texas, and Sequoia National Park in California beginning in 2023.
AutoCamp Zion is set to debut in the spring of 2023 outside of Zion National Park. Glampers may stay in a vintage 31-foot Airstream trailer, suites, or canvas tents.
Although no official opening dates have been announced, tourists may anticipate the other four venues to launch later this year.
AutoCamps are recognized for providing premium outdoor adventures with picturesque cottages snuggled into the surrounding environment, elegant facilities, and dreamlike experiences.
Moab, Utah’s ULUM Moab

Moab, Utah, will welcome a new glamping resort to the red rock area in March. A new brand named ULUM has been introduced by Under Canvas.
From March 30 through October 23, 2023, the brand is now taking bookings.
Glampers may reserve one of the 50 all-suite glamping tents, allowing easy access to Moab’s desert beauty, including Canyonlands and Arches national parks.
Red sandstone cliffs flank the campground on three sides, and you may wake up to the light illuminating the environment in warm colors.
ULUM Moab, like Under Canvas, will offer visitors adventure and leisure in stunning natural settings.
When you stay at ULUM Moab, you’ll have access to local outdoor activities like rock climbing, guided national park excursions, and seasonally-inspired eating.
