Duffle bags have not only been in trend for a long time, they are also very useful when it comes to packing and travelling. They are an ideal carryon luggage choice for quick and frequent trips or for sudden trips. It takes less space and can be used as a side along for suitcases, making it an ideal choice.

Duffle bags can also be used as carry on but only if it fits the airplane luggage size requirements. Most of the bags are smaller I’m size and still functional. However, a duffle bag is useless if it has disorganized accessories inside it. If there is a separate world of chaos inside the bag and if nothing makes sense, you won’t be able to properly enjoy your trip. It is mandatory to organize the duffle bag and pack it professionally for a hassle free trip. The foremost thing you need to do before the whole packing process is to make a list of all the items you will need. Then divide them into necessity and somewhat important. After this, roll down the edges of the bag for a complete access to the bottom.

Clothes:

The first tip is to always roll your clothes and then pack them. Although you can easily stuff the bag with all the clothes, it is better to organize them so that you don’t have to take everything out while finding a pair of socks. After choosing a packing cube, roll your clothes and make them stand up for easy access. The packing cubes can sort by color, type or whatever makes sense to you. Keep an extra packing cube to differentiate between clean and dirty clothes. Put these at the bottom of the bag.

Shoes:

Always place your shoes in a sleep rate compartment from clothes. You should not tolerate the dirty shoes touching the clothes and making them messy as well. Even if the shoes are clean, keeping them alongside clothes makes no sense at all. If your trip is short then keep only two shoes. Wear one and fit the other one inside the duffle bag, but separately. Travel bags usually have a zipped pocket for shoes, but in case your bag doesn’t you can put the shoes at the bottom, layer a towel at the top and then keep the clothing packets over it.

Paperwork:

All the paperwork that you require, including the passport, important documents, boarding pass etc should be kept in a safe outer pocket. You should have an easy access to them but at the same time they get lost quickly, so be careful about that. A roller duffle bag will have a separate pocket for these smaller and simpler accessories.

Toiletries and chargers:

Toiletries include liquid gels and soaps which should not be spilled inside the roller duffle bag. This is why it is better to put them in reusable containers and these containers should be adjusted at the side of the clothes. Laptop and phone chargers should be kept inside the outer pocket of the bag. If you run short of them, it can be placed in a sleeve and then added on top of the clothes compartment. This will prevent damage.

It would be preferable if you locked your bag with airport approved locks as they will act as an added security feature. Rolling duffle bags organization is a time taking process which is why you will have to work with patience. Hopefully you will be able to fit inside all your belongings and there will be no need for an extra bag. Let’s start packing like a pro!
